                    A celebration of the Porsche 356 and its Air-Cooled Brethren through 1998

This event, originally started by the Porsche 356 Owners Group (POG), is intended to embrace the spirit of the Marque’s origins as it fosters camaraderie between, and awareness of, the Air-Cooled enthusiast who’ve kept these vintage Porsches alive and on the road.  The Air-Cooled “boxer” configuration is the engine design that defined Porsche from the Pre-A 356 of the early 50’s all the way through 1998 and the venerable 993 and its derivatives.  Roughly 5 decades of Air-Cooled goodness.

As these models have all become classics, for the 70th Anniversary of PCA, we wanted to expand the event – while simultaneously turning it back to its roots of featuring the 356 while celebrating its younger siblings from 1965 – 1998 with this all Air-Cooled Event!

And as compelling as the cars are, the stories, and the individuality behind each of them, and their ownership is even more so.  So be sure to join us for this low-key fun event.

*Note: This event is not a traditional concours -please feel free to bring your driver, your “work-in progress,” or your race car for display – Air Cooled Only admitted on field.

The details;

• This is a unique display only event (no judges) no stress...
• The cost to participants is $15 per car (includes Dash Plaque)
• Awards will be given in each class based on People’s Choice balloting
• All registered Air-Cooled Porsches will be eligible for the People’s Choice voting  
• Coffee, pastries, drinks etc. will be offered for a nominal charge by Silo Falls - Lunch is also available during this event.  There is a cigar lounge, and relaxing views from the deck areas

• There is no cost as a spectator and all Porsches models/owners are invited to attend
  • Although only the Air-Cooled models will display on the field
    • 356:  1953 – 1965
    • Early 911/912: 1965 – 1973
    • 914: 1970 – 1976
    • G-Body 911: 1974 – 1989
    • 964: 1989 – 1994
    • 993: 1995 – 1998
